海上LCL輸送におけるカーボンオフセット輸送サービスを開始

 

 

株式会社トランスコンテナ（社長：友膳誠司）は、2022年4月から弊社にて取り扱いをさせていただく海上貨物輸送（LCL）において、温室効果ガス排出量が実質ゼロとなるカーボンオフセット）輸送サービスの提供を開始しました。

 

あらゆる国・地域が手を携えて温室効果ガスの排出量実質ゼロに臨む中、サプライチェーン全体における環境に配慮した輸送ニーズは日増しに高まっています。このような状況下、環境に配慮したサービスを目指します。（詳細につきましては当社担当営業までお問い合わせください。

 

* カーボンオフセット：

温室効果ガス排出量のうち、自らの努力では削減が困難な排出量の一部または全部を、他の場所で実現した温室効果ガスの排出削減・吸収量（クレジット）購入、他の場所での排出削減・吸収を実現するプロジェクトや活動への参画等により、埋め合わせることを言います。（参考：環境省ウェブサイト）

（**）日本発はもちろん、米国、タイ、フィリピン（マニラ）、シンガポール、ドイツ（ハンブルグ）発など、

外地を含めた弊社のHBLが発行されるLCL・貨物が対象となります。

・お客様には既存運賃のみで追加費用無く当該サービスをご利用いただけます。

Transcontainer – The first Japanese logistics company to provide carbon offset service for all LCL shipments

 

Transcontainer Limited. (President: Seiji Yuzen) will provide a carbon offset (*) service that achieves net-zero GHG (Greenhouse Gas) emissions for all Less-than Container Load (LCL) shipments in ocean freight forwarding. As many countries and regions work hand in hand to achieve net-zero GHG emissions, the need for environment-friendly transportation throughout the supply chain is growing day by day.

 

（*）Carbon offset:
A carbon offset is a practical and effective way to address climate change. When we conduct carbon offset, we first calculate amount of GHG emissions which are released into the atmosphere. Then, purchasing carbon credit allows us to compensate for its residual carbon footprint by supporting projects worldwide that reduce carbon emissions.

・All LCL shipments are fully covered by (**) “Carbon Offset Service”.

（**）This service applies not only to shipments from Japan, but also from USA, Thailand, Philippines (Manila), Singapore, and Germany (Hamburg) that move under TCL-issued H.B/L.
